I have spent well over 30 years in the Real Estate industry and I still love it! Before I began my career in Real Estate, I completed my degree in Economics from UBC and worked as a foreman with a crew installing power lines throughout the rugged BC terrain in my early twenties. After working out of town for weeks at a time, I decided I wanted a career change. My fascination with Real Estate led me to take the required exams, and I began my career in 1971 with Block Bros, a prominent Real Estate company in North Burnaby.

Within a few years, I established myself as a Top Realtor in the Lower Mainland and Western Canada. Year after year, my enthusiasm and energy put me in the top 10% of realtors; after 25 consecutive years of such top sales, I earned the Lifetime Medallion Club Award Designation from the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver. I was also involved for over 7 years with the Professional Conduct Committee at the Vancouver Real Estate Board and the MLS Committee. In 1978, I incorporated my own Real Estate company, Love Realty, in partnership this past year with Coldwell Banker. Today I am proud to work with my two sons, Derek and Carsten: The Love Team! Since 1971, I have seen Vancouver and surrounding areas grow and grow! I have been involved with over a thousand real estate transactions in all areas of the Lower Mainland, although now I specialize in the Burnaby area, especially the Government Road neighborhood where I currently live. I have sold many homes 4 to 5 times over! Real Estate is so much about enjoying people's company and understanding their needs and goals and achieving them.
